Michael Oster is a Director at GDSNY with a focus on investment management, underwriting and asset management. He is responsible for managing the firm’s debt and equity portfolio and sourcing, negotiating, and structuring new investment opportunities.

Prior to joining GDSNY, Michael was at Spear Street Capital in New York where he worked across the acquisitions, dispositions, financing and asset management teams, managing over 3.5 million square feet of commercial real estate properties across the United States, Canada and Europe and executing over $1.3 billion of equity and debt transactions. Prior to that, Michael was at Morgan Stanley where he worked in both the Commercial Real Estate Lending and Public Finance Investment Banking groups.

Michael holds a master of business administration degree from Columbia University and a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Middlebury College.
