Spark Awards

2011 Concept Winners
This year’s field of entrants posed a challenge to the Spark Jury. They were uniformly excellent! This of course makes the task of choosing winners more difficult. However the Jury ultimately finished their studious review and the results are described below.

The Spark:Concept Jury was composed of eight highly regarded international designers and architects, including Jury Chair, Kit Hinrichs of Studio Hinrichs, San Francisco, and Jurists Professor Jan Staël von Holstein, College of Design & Innovation, Tongji University, Shanghai; Richard Watson, Principal, Essential Design, Boston; Andreas Harlow, Design Director, NIKE, Portland; Dan Sturges, Transportation Consultant, Boulder; Eddy Yu, Partner, CoDesign, Ltd., Hong Kong; Michael Kirchman, Principle, Global Design Strategies, NY & London and Ying Liu, Principal Interaction Designer, Teague Design, Seattle.
