New York, NY – GDS Development Management (GDSNY) and Corem announced today that they have signed a 15-year lease at 28&7 with international juice bar and coffee shop chain Joe & The Juice for a 2,150-square-foot southern retail unit.
Founded in Denmark in 2002, Joe & The Juice serves freshly prepared juices, shakes, sandwiches, and coffee using natural and organic ingredients sourced directly from growers. The company now operates more than 360 locations across Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America, including 25 in New York City.
28&7 is a new, Class A boutique office building in the Penn District of Manhattan. Located at the corner of 28th Street and 7th Avenue, directly adjacent to the Fashion Institute of Technology, the building stands at a dynamic crossroads, with the NoMad district to the east and Penn Station and Hudson Yards just minutes to the west.
Designed by world-renowned architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), the 11-story building features a distinctive black terracotta facade with large, triple-glazed windows and panoramic views of the city. 28&7 is LEED Gold certified and offers the very latest in touchless technology and air-quality monitoring.
“We are delighted to welcome Joe & The Juice to 28&7,” said Michael Kirchmann, CEO of GDSNY. “This will be an incredible, high-quality amenity for our office tenants, and for the neighborhood as a whole.”
